UofL Health operates UofL Hospital (the region's only Level I trauma center and academic medical center), Jewish Hospital (home to the world's first successful human heart transplant), Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, UofL Health – Peace Hospital, and multiple specialty and community clinics. UofL Health Urgent Care provides walk-in treatment for minor injuries, respiratory illness, UTIs, rashes, lacerations, sprains, and allergic reactions, with on-site digital X-ray, lab testing, COVID/flu testing, sports physicals, and DOT physicals.
