UofL Health Urgent Care Plus – Medical Center Southend is a UofL Health Urgent Care clinic — the walk-in urgent care brand of UofL Health (University of Louisville Health), the academic medical system of the University of Louisville. UofL Health operates UofL Hospital (the region's only Level I trauma center and academic medical center), Jewish Hospital (home to the world's first successful human heart transplant), Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, UofL Health – Peace Hospital, and multiple specialty and community clinics. UofL Health Urgent Care provides walk-in treatment for minor injuries, respiratory illness, UTIs, rashes, lacerations, sprains, and allergic reactions, with on-site digital X-ray, lab testing, COVID/flu testing, sports physicals, and DOT physicals. Most major commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid (Kentucky Medicaid/KyHealth), Humana, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Tricare are accepted. Located in Pleasure Ridge Park, the clinic operates 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on weekdays. Patients have direct referral access to UofL Hospital and the UofL Health academic system.
