HonorHealth Urgent Care - Tempe - ASU — Tempe

HonorHealth Complete Care is a hybrid emergency room + urgent care model where both levels of care are co-located. Urgent care services are available 7 AM–9 PM, while emergency room services are available 24/7. The first Complete Care opened January 2026 at Lake Pleasant in Peoria. This model gives patients fast access to the right level of care without having to guess between ER and urgent care.

HonorHealth accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Medicare, and AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid). Major in-network plans include Banner|Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Cigna (note: HonorHealth recently acquired 11 Evernorth Care Group locations from Cigna in January 2026), UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Tricare, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Arizona Medicaid Managed Care (AHCCCS) plans (Banner – University Family Care, Mercy Care, Health Choice, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan).

All HonorHealth Urgent Care visits are documented in HonorHealth's Epic MyChart EMR — visible across all 9 affiliated hospitals (Scottsdale Osborn, Shea, Thompson Peak, Sonoran Crossing, John C. Lincoln, Deer Valley, etc.) and 200+ HonorHealth-affiliated providers. If urgent care identifies a complex case, referral routes seamlessly to the appropriate HonorHealth specialist or directly to the closest HonorHealth ER (Osborn or John C. Lincoln are Level I Trauma Centers).
